Jason Donovan finally visits Jason Donervan

It was the picture Bristolians have been waiting for since the Jason Donervan kebab outlet - an icon - opened outside Beacon House, housing offices and study spaces for Bristol University.

Despite numerous visits to the city, and performances at the Hippodrome, this is the first time Donovan has visited his namesake, dragged over by Ant and Dec as part of their ITV Saturday Night Takeaway last night. Appearing live on the show, among a large crowd that had gathered thanks to social media mentions during the day, Donovan ate a bite of his kebab, before declaring to presenter Andi Peters that it was “very special”.

The visit attracted attention on local, national and international media… and as Epigram suggested, the next visit surely has to be to an Andi Pittas.
